Acupuncture

Acupuncture is used by many of the world’s greatest athletes, sports people, and celebrities to promote well-being and enhance healing of wide variety of medical conditions. Acupuncture can help you to move freely and be pain free.

Traditional acupuncture

Traditional acupuncture is based on ancient Chinese theories of the flow of Qi (energy), also referred to as Chi, and Xue (blood) through distinct pathways or meridians that cover the body.

Acupuncture, consists of inserting special needles into acupoints to stimulate and enhance the free flow of Qi, therefore regulating the harmonious energetic balance of the body. This consequently relieves pain and restores health.

Terry holds a Bachelor of Acupuncture, graduating from the Brisbane College of Traditional Acupuncture and Natural Medicine in 1985. He specialises in traditional acupuncture for:

  • musculoskeletal problems,
  • sports injuries,
  • back and joint pain,
  • sinus, digestive issues and fatigue.

Five Element Acupuncture

He also practices Five Element Acupuncture, an original branch of Acupuncture that addresses disharmonies of the mind, spirit and emotions.

This is an amazingly simple and beautiful way to unlock the energy flows of the body and help us to feel "more ourselves". Stress, anxiety, depression and "feeling lost" are conditions well treated with Five Element Acupuncture.

Terry is registered with AHPRA, Australian Health Practitioners Registration Authority, the Australian government based registration authority to which all health practitioners and doctors belong.

He's also a member of AACMA, Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association, and a Fellow Member of ANTA, Australian Natural Therapists Association. Health rebates are available.
